I advise Textile and Clothing industry on sustainable development and implementation such as GOTS, Organic Exchange, FairTrade, Social Responsibility and more

Plus, as ‘Technical Team Leader’ for Bangladesh Textile Today, mostly circulated monthly textile and clothing magazine in Bangladesh, advise and lead research team.

My basic education is in ‘Textile Technology’ from Bangladesh University of Textiles, Dhaka, Bangladesh and higher education is in the same stream from Niederrhein University, Moenchengladbach, Germany. I completed MSc in Textile and Clothing with master’s thesis (Masterarbeit) for United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) in January 22, 2008. My supervising teachers were Prof. Dr. Herald Engels, Narrow Fabrics Boss; and Prof. Dr. Gerrit Heinemann, Chairman of Textile-Clothing Trade and Management Department of Niederrhein University. Prof. Dr. Marie-Louise Klotz, ex-Dean of Department of Textile and Clothing Technology of the university was mentor of the thesis work. This Thesis was accepted and published by German publishing house ‘VDM Verlag Dr. Müller’ world wide with book-titling ‘ Integrating Handloom-Weavers into Bangladeshi RMG Production Chain: Proposed Integrating Methods, Strategies, and Policies’. As Master’s student in Germany, I got opportunities to meet Textile-Clothing’s best educationists in the Europe, might be in the world and obtained important lessons in the same sector.  Opportunities to visit Frankfurt Techtextil exhibition several times and ITMA Munich 2007 were biggest windows to enter and understand Global Textile-Clothing scenario. Visiting neighboring countries namely- Netherlands, Belgium, France and United Kingdom have also included global experiences in my life. Thanks to HS Niederrhein for creating such opportunities in my life.
